Over the course of his career, Sam has built a reputation for leading complex executive searches where leadership, governance, organizational culture, and mission must align. Prior to launching Torres Search Partners, he served as a Managing Director at a nationally recognized executive search firm, leading searches for CEOs, CFOs, COOs, General Counsels, CHROs, and senior commercial leaders nationwide.
As a practicing Catholic, Sam has developed a particular passion for serving Catholic and faith-based organizations. He is active in his parish, Our Lady of the Lake in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where he serves through the Knights of Columbus, faith formation, Confirmation, and OCIA. That involvement gives him a personal appreciation for the importance of identifying leaders who understand that service to a mission-driven organization carries responsibilities beyond the job description.
